Technibel MINISET and  MULTISET VRF systems offer the most advanced technology for air conditioning centralized systems.

Our range of VRF includes excellent systems dedicated to:

- commercial applications (2/3-way  MULTISET)
- light-commercial applications (MINISET or 2/3-way  MULTISET)
- residential applications (MINISET).

The coefficients of performance are exceptional, in both Cooling and Heat pump modes, making it possible to benefit of big savings in terms of energy consumption. This feature is strongly evaluated in all Europe, leading to important savings in energy costs and contributing to respect the agreements of Kyoto relating to energy saving, with the reduction of greenhouse gases.

In many European Countries the investments primarily made by the citizens in MINISET as heating systems in spite of a traditional one, gas or fuel energy sourced, are rewarded with fiscal benefits, depending on the Financial Law of each particular country.

Both MINISET and MULTISET VRF systems use the same Indoor units, which can thus be connected to three different types of Outdoor units:

- Outdoor units for MINISET VRF systems
- Outdoor units for 2-way MULTISET VRF systems
- Outdoor units for 3-way MULTISET VRF systems


MINISET and  MULTISET are direct expansion air conditioning systems with VARIABLE REFRIGERANT FLOW based on two technologies:
- the technology of R410A, the most ecological and efficient refrigerant now availble on the market and
- the technology of PAM  (Pulse Amplitude Modulation) DC Inverter electronic control.
The result is a top energy efficiency product , with Coefficient of Performance (C.O.P.) up to 4,09.

The installation of the MULTISET systems is easy and can be realized "step by step" without difficulties: it's possible to begin with one outdoor unit only and then add other outdoor units to reach the required total capacity. The units installed at the beginning go on operating without  modifications.

The total capacity of a  2 / 3-way Multiset system can vary from 22,4 kW  to 135 kW (48 HP) using up to 3 outdoor units; the Miniset can be used for systems with a total capacity of 11 kW, 14 kW and 16 kW.

The maximum number of connectable Indoor units is 9 for MINISET systems, 40 for MULTISET systems.

The total piping length can reach 300 meters with a lower quantity of refrigerant (-21%).

Other special features are available when 2 units (or more than 2) operate in parallel:

1. For instance,  the system is able to automatically acivate a special electronic control system of the Outdoor units, called  "BACK UP", that in case one unit stops operating or is in error, makes the system  go on fonctionning, waiting for a technical intervention: the sophisticated control system compensates the bad operation of the blocked outdoor unit, distributing the thermal power to the other outdoor units of the multiple configuration system.

2. Another feature, called "LONG LIFE", consists of an electronic system that controls the operating cycles of the compressor, distributing the loading and extending the efficiency in the time (in case of more "Constant spee" units).

The low sound level is a key factor for MULTISET Outdoor units; thanks to the special fan and to the careful study of the air movements in suction, the sound power levels have been reduced of more than 4 dB(A) in comparison with the prevoius models.

The compactness of the outdoor units allows a very  flexible installation. Only 10 cm of distance are necessary between two outdoor units: the space required for the installation is small and the displacement of the units made easier.

Another key factor of these outdoor units is their capability to operate in extreme outdoor air temperature conditions : MULTISET can be practically installed everywhere.
The operating range is:
- from -10°C to +43°C in Cooling Mode
- from  -20°C to +15°C in Heating Mode
