The water chilled Terminal units are the ideal
completion of the range of Chillers and Heat Pumps: they allow to
propose complete and high efficient solutions in alternative to the
traditional systems of heating and cooling, both in residential and
in commercial fields.
The various models of Terminal Units offer a real
choice, making it possible to keep the aesthetic appearance of each
room and can be divided in 4 great families suitable for all the
residential and tertiary applications:
- Hi-wall models (MPW);
- Floor/Ceiling models (KPSW);
- Cassette models (CWX) to be put in the false
ceiling;
- Fan-coils models (TWN).
Their design is particularly well adapted to the European markets:
the units are compact and equipped in standard with infrared remote
controller with temperature sensor inside (MPW, KPSW, CWX), to grant
the best conditions of comfort.
Each Terminal Unit can also be controlled, room by
room, by an ambient thermostat (RCC), either manual or automatic
(as accessories), to answer all the requests.
Moreover, each Terminal Unit is equipped with a
filter, which traps dust. The active carbon filter, available on
some models, deodorises the ambient.
The water cooled systems with Terminal units offer important advantageses:
- the relatively low cost of the Terminal units
makes it possible to realize, for example, a complete system of
heating and/or air-conditioning for each room;
- the costs of installation are moderate;
- the noise level is very low and thus
particularly well adapted to any type of dwelling, especially for
the Night zone.
- the possibility to choose among 4 different
types of units makes it possible to find the answer to all
requirements;
- the preset temperature (heating or
air conditioning) is very quickly attained, according to the desires
of the user.
- the possibility (limited to France) to get profit
from the purchasing of Terminal units in matching with an air/water Heat Pump Technibel de
type PHR et PHRT as main source of heating of its own house: in this
case the French Authority grants a tax credit of 50% (starting from
the incomes imposition of 2006), giving back to purchaser 50% of the
price paied.
The application of the air/water Heat Pump
with Terminal Units is equivalent to a true system of central
heating making it possible to have conditions of well-being and
comfort in one's house in all the periods of the year: heating in
winter, but also air-conditioning in summer. Moreover, in summer, the Terminal Units
eliminate the excessive humidity.
The Terminal
units can be used with a Heat Pump as the only units or in matching
with a Heating/cooling Underfloor
in "combination"
solution:
Underfloor in the first zone, during the daytime, and
Terminal Units in the second zone, during the night-time, for example.
Energy saving is guaranteed by the low
consumption of a unique and otpimized system which grants the
double function of heating and cooling.
