Concept
- Rêve is born to satisfy the desire of many people
that, approaching the purchase of an air conditioner, wish to integrate
it in their house or office without taking new space, without installing
outdoor units and, if possible, choosing one product able to cool, heat
and dehumify; Rêve satisfies all these desires!
- Where to install it?
Rêve can be installed exactly at the place of an existing water radiator,
which is replaced in all and for all;
Rêve is in fact water radiator in winter, air conditioner in
summer, heat pump in the mid-seasons and dehumidifier during all the
year: a 365 day product. In any case, if not used as water radiator,
Rêve can be used as air-conditioner without outdoor unit, straight
cooling and heat pump, and dehumidifier.
- How is possible to
eliminate the outdoor unit?
Integrating the outdoor unit in the indoor unit and using a particular
way to cool the condenser. This way depends on which version of
Rêve we consider. We propose in fact two different versions of
Rêve in order to meet all requirements. In
the air-cooled models (Rêve 247C – Rêve
237R) the outdoor unit integrated in the indoor unit is put in
contact with the external air by means of two holes with a
diameter of 162 mm made in the perimetral wall: these holes grant the
air supply to the condenser (one hole is for the air inlet, the other hole
is for the
air outlet). These models need only two holes in the wall, but the wall must be a
perimetral one. The water-cooled
models (Rêve 248 C H2O – Rêve 237 R H2O), on
the contrary, don't need any hole in the wall and can be freely
installed, not necessarily on a perimetral wall. They are designed to
use town water or wellwater or groundwater to cool the condenser
integrated in the indoor unit and can can be also used as terminal units
of a closed circuit system (water loop) with water at 30°C, according to
EN14511 standard specifications. These models give many interesting
advantages: high energy efficiency (E.E.R. / C.O.P. up to 4,68), low
energy consumption (630W with a cooling capacity of
3 kW) and a surprisingly low sound level due to the total silent
water condensation. The water consumption is very low: in summer, in
standard operating conditions, it reaches about 1 m3 a day.
- How does it work?
When the heating plant (independent or centralised) is operating, Rêve
works as the old water radiator but gives a better service, thanks to
its ventilation and air filtration functions; when the heating plant is
off, Rêve can be used as air conditioner and heat pump, demanding
nothing other that the power supply.
- How much more does it
consume than a traditional water radiator?
When Rêve is used in winter as water radiator the costs for the
additional consumption are not perceptible because the power input is
only 27 watt; this means that the operating cost in winter, if the unit
works for all the day and the night, is little greater than two euro a
month. When Rêve is used in the mid-seasons as heat pump or in summer as
air conditioner the operating cost is little greater than two euro a
day, like the new generation split air conditioners in A class..
- Is it noisy ?
Rêve is surprisingly silent because is equipped with a special
tangential fan, realized taking particular care of three fundamental
aspects:
- the silently;
- the high air flowrate;
- the reaction to the wide thermal excursion from cooling to heating
modes of the material with which is realized. Moreover, all the product
is treated with antinoise materials that allow to reach a sound pressure
of only 32 dB, a level much lower than the typical conversation or
basical noise inside a room (see the scale of the noises here next).
- Which can be the maximum
dimension of the room to cool or heat?
Rêve has a thermal capacity of about 2500 watt and, according to the
locality and to the weather conditions, can be used for rooms with a
volume from 65 m3 to 80 m3, that is from 25 m2 to 30 m2 with a height of
2,7 m.
